ElectricalElectric is recommended to power the remote control on/off function but is not required. A battery backup for the on/off function is included on all units but standard electric should be used where possible.
Media options 
Tempered glass over the burner and approved colored glass as a topcoat. MOONSTONE AND PEBBLE STONE CAN BE PLACED ON TOP OF THE GLASS IN THE FRONT 6" SECTION ONLY. MOONSTONE AND PEBBLE STONE MUST NEVER BE PLACED IN ON TOP OF THE GLASS IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE FLAME (REAR 4" SECTION). PLACING MOONSTONE OR PEBBLE STONE IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE FLAME MAY RESULT IN THEM CRACKING AND PERSONAL INJURY.
