2. RULES: The contest is governed by theses rules, terms and conditions. By participating in the competition, you agree to these rules and the decision of the judges, which are final and abiding. SMF reserves the right to change these rules or cancel the Design Competition at any time, at its sole discretion.
3. CONTEST PERIOD: The competition begins February 15, 2011 at 10am and ends on March 15, 2011 at 5pm. All entries received outside of this timeframe shall be void.
4. PARTICIPATION: Site Specific 3 Design Competition participants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Submissions may be accepted via email to:

or regular mail to: Spark Modern Fires, 99B Greenwood Ave., Bethel, CT 06801. images in .jpg format. High-resolution images only 2 MB or higher files are preferred.
3. SUBMITTED IMAGES: By submitting your profile information and imagery, you expressly agree not to submit any images that are unlawful, libelous, slanderous or defamatory or invasive of another person’s right of privacy. By submitting, each participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless SMF; it’s employees, directors and agents from and against any liabilities or judgments resulting from the submission of his or her photographs. SMF will not return any photographs.
4. PERMISSION: By submitting your works in the Site Specific 3 Design Competition, you hereby grant SMF a non-exclusive, non-revocable license to edit, publish, use, adapt or modify any image you submit. Upon request by SMF you agree to provide a release signed by any individual depicted in any image you submit.
5. HOW: 2011 Site Specific 3 Design Competition WINNERS ARE SELECTED: By specifiy and ordering one or more of our Spark Modern Fires you are automatically eligible to participate in the Site Specific 3 Design Competition. SMF representatives will notify you with the final edited version of your submitted text and imagery that will be used on the site for your approval.
6. ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: The laws of the state of CT shall govern any dispute relating to the Design Competition.
7. HOW WINNERS ARE SELECTED: Photo contest winners will be determined by a panel of judges consisting of SMF representatives.
8. PRIZES: One grand prizewinner will be selected to receive $2500, with their photo and up to five other photos may be chosen to represent SMF in our 2011 National Ad Campaign. All taxes are the responsibility of the winner. Winners will be notified within 10 days of the jury decision via email or phone. If participant changes his/her contact info, it is their responsibility to notify SMF. If prize money is not collected within 60 days of the end of the contest, SMF reserves the right to cancel the prize without notifying the winner.
9. ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: The laws of the state of CT shall govern any dispute relating to the Design Competition.
